Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water Utility (CGW) has closed approximately 100 feet of the westbound lane near the Pond Apple Road intersection for the installation of a new natural gas line.

Westbound traffic will be moved to the center lane during construction, causing traffic congestion and delays.

Motorists are urged to slow down and be alert to workers and their equipment as they approach the work area or choose an alternate travel route when possible.

Installation of the new natural gas line is expected to be complete and the lane reopened around 3 p.m.
