LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL /ACCESSWIRE/July 29, 2022/ Major League Soccer (OTC PINK:MLFB) major league soccer (MLFB) regrets to announce that full funding for the 2022 training camp and 2022 season opener has not been completed as planned. “An unexpected delay has caused us to suspend training camp and potentially delay the start of the 2022 season,” CEO Frank Murtha said. “The City of Mobile and all associated groups have been wonderful to us. It is very disappointing that something beyond my control is creating such a problem for everyone. All the players and coaches have shown incredible grace through all of this disruption. We offer our deepest apologies to them. We are working with hotel groups, caterers and everyone else to try and get this back on track. Our main concern today is to get players home quickly. We will be meeting continuously over the next few weeks to rectify this situation.”
“We fully intend to meet all of our obligations to Mobile suppliers,” continued Murtha. “This is a temporary delay in operations and I am working tirelessly to correct this situation. As I said, our first objective is to take care of all players and coaches and bring them home. Every waking moment is spent working on solutions.”
