Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has collaborated with Mr. Rukkit Kuanhavej to create the Mitsubishi Triton ‘Rukkit Edition’ van which is the perfect collaboration between the passion of Mitsubishi Motors and the talent of Thailand, designed especially for customers with a unique passion to show the distinctive lifestyle.

Launched at the 42nd Bangkok International Motor Show 2021, the Mitsubishi Triton “Rukkit Edition” is based on the new Mitsubishi Triton Mega Cab and is available for sale as one of the 60th anniversary special editions of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand. .

The reason for the collaboration is simple: Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and Mr. Rukkit Kuanhavej share similar philosophies, “Ambition to Explore” and it is in line with Mitsubishi Motors’ global slogan “Drive Your Ambition” which promises customers new experiences to expand their activities and take on new challenges. It also encourages passion and drives people to success.

Mr. Rukkit is a renowned graphic designer and street artist specializing in creating stunning figurative language art with its strong and characteristic geometric patterns. He has worked with many global brands and products that push the boundaries of traditional fashion.

“My passion is to explore and create unique artistic expressions. I am very determined to achieve my ambitions and I constantly cross borders to explore and realize them. For this truck, my inspiration came from the name ‘Triton’. In Greek mythology, Triton is the son of Poseidon, the god of the sea. The Mitsubishi Triton ‘Rukkit Edition’ reflects this inspiration. I used strong and colorful graphics to make the truck even more solid and powerful. I wanted to making it ‘The Great Triton.’ For me this special model is a celebration of passion and exceptionally unique style, ”said Mr. Rukkit.

Sharing the same “Engineered Beyond Tough” concept with the rest of the range, the Mitsubishi Triton “Rukkit Edition” combines strength and durability with contemporary, urban sporty styling. The truck comes with a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay (1) and Android Auto (2).

Power comes from the ruggedness and world-proven power of its 2.5L DOHC 16-valve inline-four turbodiesel engine with common rail fuel injection intercooler. Safety features include SRS dual airbag, anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution and brake neutralization system.

The Mitsubishi Triton ‘Rukkit Edition’ is priced at THB 647,000 (3) and is available in Sunshine Orange, Solid White and Jet Black Mica. All variants feature a black roof finish.

With the 60th Anniversary Edition, customers are invited to play a role in promoting sustainability and bringing about positive change in the community.
